Synopsis
In the near future, psychotherapist Atsuko Chiba moonlights under the alias Paprika, slipping into patients' dreams through an experimental device called the DC Mini to treat them from within. When prototypes of the device disappear from her research institute, someone begins using them to drive people insane, and Chiba must enter the dreamscape herself to hunt down the culprit before the line between dream and waking life dissolves completely. This 1993 novel is the original story behind the Paprika manga and the 2006 anime film.
