Synopsis
In 1924, Japanese transfer student Kazuya Kujo enrolls at Saint Marguerite Academy in the small European country of Sauville, where he meets Victorique de Blois, a diminutive, doll-like girl who skips every class to read through the school library's entire collection. When a string of local mysteries defies even the town's celebrated detectives, Kazuya draws Victorique out of her tower to apply her reasoning to cases the police can't solve, starting with the wreck of the ghost ship Queen Berry.
