Synopsis
In 1972, astronauts find an alien hypergate on the Moon that leads to Mars, and the colonists who settle there build the Vers Empire around a mysterious energy source called Aldnoah. Fifteen years after a war ends in the destructive Heaven's Fall, Vers princess Asseylum Vers Allusia travels to Earth for peace talks, but an attack during her visit reignites the conflict. High schooler Inaho Kaizuka is pulled into the fighting, and so is Slaine Troyard, a Terran raised on Mars, as Vers's advanced Kataphrakt war machines bear down on Earth's outmatched forces. This manga adapts the anime's first season.
