Ordinary high schooler Sakura Minamoto dies in a traffic accident in 2008, then wakes up a decade later as a zombie with no memory of her death. She's not alone: a mysterious producer named Kotaro Tatsumi has revived six other legendary women from across Japanese history alongside her, and drags all seven into Franchouchou, an idol group meant to save the struggling Saga Prefecture. Sakura becomes the group's reluctant center while trying to piece together how she actually died and what Kotaro really wants from them.
