Synopsis
Kasumi Nomura hates games after years of losing to her teasing older sister, and her English grades are no better. Her loud classmate Hanako Honda and Olivia, who was born and raised in Japan but keeps up a broken-Japanese "American transfer student" act, won't stop pestering her to play. Kasumi strikes a bargain: she will teach them old-fashioned Japanese pastimes if Olivia tutors her in English. They formalize it as the Pastimers Club, treating every round like a life-or-death contest as more classmates get dragged into the increasingly unhinged competitions.
