Squeezed onto DVD releases of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, these two dozen shorts run barely a minute apiece and exist purely to poke fun at the main series. Rika Furude, Rena Ryuuguu, Mion Sonozaki, Keiichi Maebara, and Satoko Houjou get dropped into remixed versions of familiar scenes, played for laughs instead of dread. There is no ongoing plot; each clip is its own quick gag, built on jokes that only land for viewers who already know the games club and its routines.
