ジョゼと虎と魚たち

College student Tsuneo takes a part-time job looking after Josee, a young woman who hasn't left her grandmother's house in years and gets around by wheelchair, modeling her days on Françoise Sagan novels and the fierce heroine she named herself after. As Tsuneo starts pulling her into trips outside, from the corner store to the beach, Josee pushes back against how small her world has been kept, testing exactly how far she's willing to go. This 2020 manga adapts the same year's animated film, itself based on Seiko Tanabe's original 1984 short story.
