Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms

さよならの朝に約束の花をかざろう

Maquia belongs to the Iorph, an ageless people who live apart from the rest of the world, until a sudden invasion scatters her clan and leaves her stranded far from home. Alone, she finds an orphaned baby boy amid the wreckage and decides to raise him herself, naming him Ariel. This manga adaptation follows their bond as Ariel grows into adulthood while Maquia's own appearance barely changes at all, the two of them drifting apart in ways neither expected.
