Synopsis
Rather than more scenes of Musashino Animation's staff, these two OVAs are the shows the Shirobako cast produces in-universe, presented as full pilot episodes played straight. "Exodus!" follows three struggling idols, Akane, Aya, and Alpine, who stumble onto their manager's murder and become suspects overnight. "Falling Angel" puts the pilots of the Hell Alice squadron in outdated aircraft against the alien Builders and their world-spanning Pillars. Both came bundled with the Blu-ray release, each with its own cast, character designs, and theme songs.
