Karasuno High reaches the Miyagi Prefecture final after fighting through the Spring Tournament, but their opponent is Shiratorizawa Academy, led by ace Wakatoshi Ushijima, the prefecture's top player and one of Japan's three strongest spikers. In this third season, Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, and the full Karasuno roster stake everything on a single five-set match for a berth at nationals.
