Synopsis
Set during Golden Kamuy's first-season finale, this OVA follows two rival parties converging on the frontier town of Barato: Ogata, a sniper serving the 7th Division, and Hijikata, the former Shinsengumi vice-commander now leading his own gang. Both are chasing a lead on the hidden Ainu gold, rumored to be tied to a piece of tattooed skin held by the Hidoro gang, and a betrayal forces both sides to rethink their alliances mid-heist. A shorter segment afterward follows series regulars Sugimoto, Asirpa, and Shiraishi investigating an unrelated giant-bird sighting.
