Third son of an impoverished baronet family, Noir Stardia loses his job and stumbles on rumors of a legendary hidden dungeon near his home, one that turns out to answer to him alone. Inside, he meets Olivia Servant, an adventurer bound in place for centuries, and gains devastating creation-based powers under her tutelage as he sets out to become a professional adventurer. Alongside him are his childhood friend and first love Emma Brightness and guild receptionist Lola Metrose, who assigns his early quests. This ongoing light novel is the source for the 2018 manga adaptation.
