Future Trunks returns from his training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to fight Androids #17 and #18 and an Imperfect Cell one final time in his ravaged future timeline. After defeating them and restoring peace to a world that lost Goku, Gohan, and the Z Fighters years earlier, Trunks reunites with his mother Bulma at the ruins of Capsule Corporation. The special closes on Goku settling into his new life in the Other World, at peace with how his story in this timeline ended.
