Wakana Gojō, a shy high-schooler training to craft hina doll heads under his grandfather, keeps his hobby secret from classmates until the popular Marin Kitagawa catches him sewing after school and asks him to build costumes for her cosplay. Their partnership — Wakana constructing outfits and wigs from scratch, Marin modeling characters from her favorite games and anime — steadily draws Wakana into a social world he had avoided.
