Kimihiko Kimizuka spent three years crossing the globe as assistant to the detective Siesta, battling a secret organization of enhanced humans, until her death sent him back to an ordinary high school life that never quite stayed ordinary. Nagisa Natsunagi, who inherited fragments of what Siesta left behind, and Charlotte Arisaka Anderson remain at his side as the mysteries pile back up. This second season picks up where the first left off, with Kimihiko's normal life once again giving way to case work.
