Ex-saboteur Tooru Acura has drifted through five peaceful years with no use for his old skills until Chaika Trabant, a young mage who hauls a coffin on her back, hires him and his sister Akari for a job. Chaika claims to be the daughter of the slain emperor Arthur Gaz and needs help recovering his scattered remains, a search that soldiers and rival hunters want to stop before it starts. This manga adapts Ichirou Sakaki's light novel.
