Synopsis
Set during a civil war in an alternate medieval Europe, this light novel follows archer Tigrevurmud Vorn after his home territory of Alsace is swept into Brune's internal conflict and he's captured by Eleonora Viltaria, one of seven Vanadis warlords ruling neighboring Zhcted. Rather than execute him, Elen recruits Tigre to her side, and the story widens from there into troop movements and shifting alliances across both nations. Tsukasa Kawaguchi's original 18-volume novel is the basis for the manga and 2014 anime.
