Yukio Tonegawa serves as the long-suffering right hand of Kazutaka Hyoudou, the eccentric president of the Teiai Corporation who runs underground gambling death games purely for entertainment. When Hyoudou grows bored, Tonegawa has to scramble to keep his team of subordinates in line while inventing new ways to keep the president satisfied. This spin-off of Kaiji plays Tonegawa's absurd corporate battles as deadpan office comedy rather than the high-stakes drama of the original series.
