Synopsis
For a school assignment on local businesses, Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya convinces the rest of the Detective Boys to investigate private detective Kogoro Mouri instead of just interviewing him, so the kids start shadowing him on the job. Kogoro is working a case involving Masaya Murakami, a loan-company employee whose missing coworker has left him on the hook for a large debt. When the wealthy parents of Murakami's girlfriend, Etsuko Yano, become targets of a kidnapping threat, Conan realizes the loan company itself may be behind the scheme.
