When Professor Agasa's bath breaks down, Conan Edogawa, Ran Mouri, and Ai Haibara head to a public bathhouse instead, and there Conan slips, hits his head, and appears to lose his memory entirely. As people around him start treating the amnesia as an opportunity, Conan quietly clocks a suspicious man stashing something in a locker and works the case from behind a memory loss that isn't quite what it looks like. Marking the manga's 20th anniversary, this TV special borrows its central conceit from the real 1926 disappearance of Agatha Christie.
