Word of a sequel to the otome game reaches Leon Fou Bartfort and Marie, a fellow reincarnator, soon after the crisis that nearly destroyed their kingdom, and it worries them: if the game continues, a second world-ending disaster may be waiting somewhere else. They enroll as exchange students at an academy in the Alzer Republic to find whoever the sequel's true heroine turns out to be, narrowing the search to twin sisters Noelle and Leila, who each fit only part of the description.
