Oribe Mafuyu's ordinary life at St. Mikhailov Academy ends the day she meets Sasha, a silver-haired transfer student who turns out to be a Qwaser: someone who draws destructive power from a substance called Soma to command a single element. His arrival drags the academy into open warfare between rival Qwasers, all hunting for a religious relic known only as the Icon. Mafuyu finds herself sheltering Sasha and pulled into a conflict she never asked to join. This manga is the source material behind the 2010 TV anime.
