Krai Andrey leads the Grieving Souls, the most feared treasure hunter party in the empire of Zebrudia. His teammates are spectacularly overpowered, yet everyone credits Krai as the genius behind every victory, when in truth he has no special aptitude at all. Desperate to retire before his luck runs out and gets his companions killed, Krai keeps trying to disband the party, only to be foiled at every turn by subordinates who refuse to believe he is anything less than a mastermind.
