Lloyd Belladonna grew up in Kunlun, a border village so close to the world's most dangerous dungeon that hauling firewood and fishing routinely mean fighting monsters strong enough to end most heroes' careers. Raised among neighbors even mightier than he is, Lloyd has no idea he's anything special, he's just the 'weak' one back home. When he moves to a starter town to chase his dream of becoming a soldier, his understated feats catch the eye of people like the mercenary Riho Flavin, who sizes him up at a glance and sets about making money off him.
