Shion, a shrine maiden gifted with the power to seal demons and foresee death, predicts that Naruto Uzumaki will die protecting her, and Naruto refuses to believe it. Assigned as her bodyguard as ancient demons stir back to life, he has to choose between staying close, which puts him in the demons' path, and pulling back, which leaves Shion undefended and the world at risk.
