Synopsis
Deep in the frozen Great Elior Forest, half-elf Emilia lives alone except for Puck, a small cat-like spirit who looks after her. The forest's other former residents, elves, all lie frozen in ice, and Emilia is feared by the people living at its edges for her resemblance to the legendary Witch of Jealousy. She gets by selling the magic stones she gathers and warding off the monsters that come at her. This prequel manga is set roughly seven years before the main Re:Zero story.
