Banri Tada arrives in Tokyo for his first year of law school, having lost all memories of his life before a bridge accident shortly after high school graduation. On his very first day he befriends Mitsuo Yanagisawa — and immediately meets Kouko Kaga, Mitsuo's obsessive childhood friend who has followed him to college with a bouquet of roses and a slap. As Banri falls for the intense and glamorous Kouko, fragments of his forgotten past begin resurfacing, especially his relationship with Linda, an upperclassman in the Festival Club who seems to know far more about his old self than she lets on.
