Synopsis
When the Light Music Club at Sakuragaoka Girls' High School is about to be disbanded for lack of members, Ritsu Tainaka drags her shy bassist friend Mio Akiyama into joining, and they recruit the gentle keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki. They still need a fourth member, and carefree first-year Yui Hirasawa wanders in — despite not knowing how to play any instrument. The group convinces Yui to stay by plying her with tea and cake, and she picks up a guitar, forming the band Houkago Tea Time. Their days revolve more around afternoon snacks and club room hangouts than actual practice.
