Illyasviel von Einzbern is an ordinary elementary schooler with an extraordinary love of magical girl shows, which makes it worse when a talking wand named Ruby crashes through her window and forces a contract on her. Ruby was meant for Rin Tosaka, a mage from London's Clock Tower, but the mix-up sticks Illya with the job instead: hunting down seven scattered Class Cards across Fuyuki City before their magic causes real damage. Living out her favorite genre firsthand turns out to be far more work than the shows made it look.
