Programmer and self-described mecha otaku Tsubasa Kurata dies in an accident and wakes up reborn as Ernesti Echevalier, a boy in a world of swords, sorcery, and towering piloted mechs called Silhouette Knights. Determined to build and fly one himself, Ernesti studies engineering alongside his childhood friends Adeltrud and Archid Olter, chasing a boyhood dream that this new world can actually deliver on.
