BLACK LAGOON

Rokuro Okajima, a strait-laced Japanese salaryman, is taken hostage during a routine business trip in the South China Sea by the Lagoon Company, a crew of mercenary couriers operating out of the fictional Thai port city of Roanapur. When his own employer abandons him, Rock, as the crew dubs him, joins Dutch, the veteran captain, trigger-happy gunfighter Revy, and tech specialist Benny to run contraband across Southeast Asia's criminal underworld.
