Six days a week, Nekoya looks like an ordinary Western-style restaurant tucked into a Tokyo shopping street. On Saturdays its door opens onto another world instead. The unnamed owner keeps cooking the same simple dishes: omelets, curry, beer, nothing exotic to him, but never-before-seen delicacies to the elves, dragons, and demons who come through once a week. The demon girl Aletta and Kuro, an ancient dragon working in elf form, help keep the strange clientele fed without asking too many questions. This light novel series is the original source for the Isekai Shokudou manga and two anime seasons.
