Porco Rosso, a cursed pilot who flies the Adriatic in a heavily customized seaplane, works bounty jobs against sky pirates while wearing the face of a pig. Three loosely connected watercolor episodes follow him through a lighter, sillier version of the story than the one the screen would later tell. This manga predates and forms the basis for the film Porco Rosso, told here without Gina or the fascist-era backstory that the movie later added.
