Reverse London is the hidden western branch of Soul Society, where witches stand in for Soul Reapers and dragons replace Hollows as the threat. Apprentice witches Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole work there for Wing Bind, the organization charged with guarding the city's dragons, and Noel's quiet composure plays off Ninny's loud energy as the two take on a case together. This special adapts the 2018 one-shot 'Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover' and lays the groundwork the later Burn the Witch series builds on.
