LAZARUS

In 2052, the Nobel-winning neuroscientist Dr. Skinner releases Hapuna, a painless, side-effect-free analgesic that nearly everyone ends up taking. Three years after Skinner vanishes, he resurfaces with a recorded message: Hapuna's effects are about to wear off, and every user will die unless he is found within thirty days. A five-person task force codenamed Lazarus, including the inmate Axel and his teammate Doug, is assembled to track Skinner down and recover a vaccine before the deadline runs out.
