Kazuya Kinoshita, a college freshman dumped by his girlfriend Mami Nanami after one month, rents a girlfriend through a mobile app and meets Chizuru Mizuhara — a beautiful, seemingly perfect companion for hire. When his hospitalized grandmother meets Chizuru and assumes she is his real girlfriend, Kazuya discovers he and Chizuru are next-door neighbors attending the same university, trapping both in a fake relationship neither can easily escape.
