Mako Satou and her navigator Sayuki defend their record atop Mount Usui as Impact Blue, the all-female racing duo built around Mako's blue Nissan SilEighty. When a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo crew calling themselves the Emperor challenges her pass record, Mako has to hold her line under pressure, all while Sayuki tries to set her up with a rival racer named Miyahara from the Myogi NightKids. This Initial D side story trades Takumi's downhill runs for Mako's own rivalry and romance.
