Mikako Kouda spends her days bickering with her childhood friend Tsutomu Yamaguchi at Yazawa Art School, all while chasing her real goal: launching her own clothing line. Their dynamic shifts when Tsutomu starts looking like Ken Nakagawa, the singer from the popular band Manbou, and girls at school suddenly start noticing him. As his new popularity complicates their easy friendship, both of them have to figure out what they actually mean to each other.
