Synopsis
This novelization retells the Ride Your Wave film through Hinako Mukaimizu's eyes: an easygoing surfer who relocates to a small coastal town and falls for Minato Hinageshi, the firefighter who pulls her from a burning building. After Minato drowns trying to rescue a jet-skier, Hinako leans on his younger sister Youko Hinageshi and on Wasabi Kawamura, Minato's partner at the fire station, while she works out how to reach him again through the song only the two of them know.
