Synopsis
With Chihaya sidelined by an injury, first-year Sumire Hanano takes the lead in this OVA, bundled with the manga's 22nd volume. The Mizusawa Karuta Club needs something to present at the school's cultural festival, so Sumire pitches a play based on The Tale of Genji and casts herself opposite Taichi Mashima, a not-so-subtle move to finally get his attention. When a typhoon wrecks the club's props right before the show, the whole cast has to improvise a stage act on the spot.
