Synopsis
Ushio Aotsuki finds a demon named Tora sealed beneath his family's shrine, held there for five hundred years by a spear driven through its chest. Freeing Tora to fight off an attack on the town binds the two together instead, and Ushio has to keep wielding the spear to control his new, reluctant ally as supernatural threats close in. This 10-episode OVA adapts only the opening chapters of a much longer manga, stopping well short of the full story.
