Battler Ushiromiya returns to Rokkenjima for the Ushiromiya family's annual conference, called together as the family head Kinzo lies dying and his fortune hangs in the balance. A typhoon seals the island off from the outside world, and Kinzo's attempt to summon the legendary witch Beatrice is followed by the family beginning to die off one by one. Battler refuses to believe magic has anything to do with it, insisting a human killer must be responsible. This light novel novelizes Ryukishi07's visual novel.
