Years after Taichi Yagami and Yamato Ishida defeated the virus Digimon Diaboromon, its data resurfaces across Japan's computers, televisions, and phones, hunting the two Chosen Children who beat it before. Koushirou Izumi and Ken Ichijouji race to trace the threat as Diaboromon multiplies itself into thousands of copies capable of leveling Tokyo, forcing the original and current Chosen Children to fight side by side. This short film is a direct continuation of the Digimon Adventure 02 TV series.
