In the mountain town of Mizunofuchi, shy schoolgirl Asuna Watase meets Shun, a boy who claims to come from a mythical underground land called Agartha, and later crosses paths with his younger twin brother, Shin, after Shun disappears. Alongside her substitute teacher Morisaki, who has his own reasons for seeking Agartha, Asuna sets out to find the land Shun described. This light novel novelizes the 2011 animated film of the same name, published alongside a separate manga adaptation.
