Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?

打ち上げ花火、下から見るか？横から見るか？

Norimichi Shimada, living in a quiet seaside town, plans to watch the summer fireworks display from the local lighthouse with his childhood friends. When his classmate Nazuna Oikawa asks him to run away with her that same evening, their attempt is cut short by her mother, and Norimichi wishes for another chance. A single day begins repeating itself, forcing Norimichi to relive the same summer afternoon until he finds a way through it. This novel retells the 2017 animated film, which itself remade a 1993 live-action television drama; a manga edition was published separately.
