Adachi and Shimamura

Hitoma Iruma's light novel opens with Sakura Adachi hiding out in her high school's gym to skip class, only to find Hougetsu Shimamura already there doing the same thing. Told in alternating first-person chapters between the two girls, the series follows their friendship as it slowly turns into feelings that surprise Adachi more than anyone. It runs in English from Seven Seas and has been adapted into two separate manga.
