Synopsis
Kousaku Hata is a devoted fan whose idol, pop singer Yuka Kusakabe, suddenly quits show business. When a transfer student calling herself Ringo Kinoshita arrives at Kousaku's agricultural high school, he recognizes her as Yuka in hiding. Prodded by his classmates and homeroom teacher, Kousaku sets out to learn why a national idol traded concert halls for crop rotation and livestock chores. This light novel is the source material for the Nourin manga and anime.
