Synopsis
Takashi Natsume and his cat-shaped bodyguard Madara help a tree-bound spirit fulfill a dying wish after lightning splits the sacred Suzunaru tree it inhabits, watering it daily until the youkai can finally rest. In the second story, a schoolgirl named Tamami leads Natsume through a hidden spirit realm to reunite with an owl spirit from her dreams, though a memory-erasing complication threatens their reunion.
