Alien princess Lum and her reluctant fiancé, Ataru Moroboshi, return to Tomobiki for a second run of interstellar chaos, with rivals Shuutarou Mendou, Ran, and Ryuunosuke Fujinami still crashing into their daily routine. The season opens when Ataru finds a piece of Fantasy Bubble Gum that turns anything its chewer imagines into reality, and, true to form, his wish immediately backfires and drags the whole cast into the fallout.
