Synopsis
Five stories make up this volume. In the title tale, a girl runs from a family that has taken to drilling peepholes into her room and reaches a neighboring town where buildings have swallowed the streets, so that getting anywhere means walking through other people's houses past residents in masks. Chizu no Machi (Maptown) strands a couple in a town whose road maps rearrange the way home, Siren no Mura (Village of the Siren) drives a village mad under a nightly siren, and Near Miss! and Choushizen Tenkousei (Supernatural Transfer Student) close the set with more contained scares.
